Visiting our Study Abroad Kids

One of the best perks of Shawn working for a study abroad company was getting a discount on sending two of our kids to Spain for the summer. Our son went to Barcelona for an internship before the start of his senior year. And our oldest daughter went to Granada for an intensive Spanish language program before the start of her junior year.

We flew over half way though their time there and spent a few days in each city.

First was Barcelona where we explored some great local markets, visited a speakeasy, and took in all the beautiful architecture. This was our third trip to Barcelona, so we got to focus on catching up with our son.

Our next stop was Granada, which we had visited once before. This time we skipped the Alhambra in favor of our daughter showing us around the city like a local, which was a very cool experience.
