Final thoughts on Edinburgh

We'll be back!

We have been to a lot of stunning places in our travels, but Edinburgh takes the cake. Truly the most beautiful city we’ve seen. It felt like we were walking through a movie set most of the time.

But the incredible views and architecture were surpassed by how special the people were. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and seemingly born with a great sense of humor. The Scottish ability to not take themselves too seriously was one of our favorite discoveries of the trip.

We left Edinburgh completely smitten with the city, and Scotland. We’re already planning our return trip so that we can explore the Scottish Highlands.
