Celebrating Shawn's Birthday Like Rockstars!

Some people deserve to be celebrated in a big way, and my husband Shawn is one of them. This year, for his birthday, I wanted to do something truly special—something that reflects just how much he means to me. So instead of the usual gifts, I planned a surprise five-day Caribbean cruise for us on Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady for the week of his birthday.

Keeping it a surprise was no easy task—especially since Shawn is the ultimate travel planner! I did my best to research dates, cabins, and details on my own, but in the end, I had to let him in on the plan (because let’s be real, he’d figure it out anyway!).

We absolutely fell in love with Virgin Voyages on our last cruise, (see that post here), so I knew this would be the perfect way to celebrate. And to make it really special, we’re sailing as “Rockstars”; we’ll be toasting Shawn’s birthday in style—with VIP perks, a gorgeous suite, and plenty of unforgettable moments.

More than anything, I just want him to know how much he’s loved and appreciated. He deserves to be spoiled a little! Here’s to making memories, soaking up the sun, and celebrating the Rockstar husband that he is.
